Akiko’s delivers an elevated immersive experience with the blend of traditional and contemporary Japanese fare. Guests are presented with one-of-a-kind experience, served with exclusive and high-quality grade fish. Akiko’s is dedicated to offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere with the focus of sharing stories behind each dish.

STYLE GUIDE
Akiko’s logo serves as the visual embodiment of the brand, embodying the values, missions, and personality. The logo mark is inspired by the shape of sushi, symbolizing the dining experience and seamlessly connecting to our brand name and mission. Supporting the logo mark is our restaurant name, presented in a distinctive sans-serif typeface, Gelica.
Together, these elements form a distinct brand asset that enhances brand personality.
LOGO DESIGN
After receiving feedback from three participants, I selected the top 4 logo designs from my exploration. I placed them in business card-sized frames with a Japanese pattern background to determine which best aligns with the restaurant's brand image.
BUSINESS CARD DESIGN
FINAL LODO DESIGN
This is the final logo design I selected. It works best because the primary mark effectively represents a Japanese restaurant. The orange color, combined with the shape of the mark and the chosen typeface, conveys a sense of luxury. To enhance the upscale feel, I’ve incorporated a subtle Japanese pattern against a black background, adding depth and sophistication to the overall design.
MOCKUPS
To visualize how the logo would translate into the real world, I created mockups for business cards, signage, and merchandise. This allowed me to see how the logo would look in various applications and ensure the design maintains its integrity and impact across different formats.
INTERACTIVE MENU
I also created an interactive menu for the restaurant, designed to enhance the customer experience. With this digital menu, customers can easily browse through dishes and drinks, view detailed descriptions, and place their orders directly from an iPad. This streamlined process not only improves efficiency but also offers a modern, engaging way for customers to interact with the menu.
