Through my research on BetterHelp, Talkspace, and Headspace, I gained valuable insights into their features and overall app design. This research helped me understand their strengths and limitations, providing a solid foundation of knowledge that I can reference as I develop my concept for WellNest.

Feature 1: Therapist Matching System
Smart Matching System
Designing WellNest on my own taught me how to wear multiple hats — from user research to UI design — while staying grounded in empathy. I learned how to translate emotional needs into practical, supportive features, and how important it is to keep accessibility and clarity at the center of mental health design.
User feedback helped me see the value of flexibility, especially when it comes to therapist matching and scheduling. This project deepened my understanding of designing for impact, and showed me how even small interactions — like a journaling prompt or calming animation — can help users feel seen, supported, and motivated.
